Flaunt it Fridays' Blog Hop: Hello Kitty & Airplane

Dearest friends,

Today, I am joining the first blog hop ever. I'm so excited. Well, as you may know, I've been under the weather the last few days and one of my biggest motivation is to get well to do this blog hop. I have to thank Cricutlvr at http://cricutlvr.blogspot.com for telling me about this blog hop when she left me a comment. I also want to thank Stephanie from http://alwayscrafting.com. She is so nice and supporting and what she made for this blog challenge is super cute and creative.

The hop is on Flaunt It Fridays at http://flauntitfridays.blogspot.com/ and is challenge is to be creative with Hello Kitty and airplane. I love this cute cat and airplane but to make a card out of them for me is hmm..... I gotta think about it. One of the gifts my husband gave me is a Hello Kitty calendar and I decided to sacrifice one page which has Airplane Hello Kitty on it. I know I know... it's not so nice but luckily I got his approval before doing it.

Soon I will be posting a video of me making the card on My First Card Youtube Channel but for now, please enjoy my newest creation. LATE FOR A BLOG HOP? HOP ON.

Super adorable, right? She's driving her own plane to pick you up.
Brm Brmm Brrmmm
*I will take you to this awesome blog hop super fast cause my plane is awesome!*
Hope you enjoyed it and thanks for stopping by.

Alphabet Series: J for Joy

Dear friends,

After going on a motorbike trip with my husband and seeing so many people who struggle everyday to make a living, I decided to make this Joy card. At the end of the day, as long as we have joy with our family, we can go through anything.

DIY Videos: Feeling Fishy?

Hi there,

What I have in store today is a Fish Card. If you have seen my Octopus card,  you will see that I am using the same techniques and to make this card. Love the silly look of the Fish haha 0_0.

You can see how I made this card here:

I will adjust the light on my camera so it doesn't look so dark. Learning on the go ^_^.

Alphabet Series: L & V

Hi there,

I was passing by a Louis Vuitton shop today and since I'm doing an Alphabet Series... mmm.... why not make it LV. Of course, what I make is not gonna be leather or luxurious like this premium product but cute and colorful for kids. The shop is just an inspiration... for the letters ^_*

The way I make these cards is simple:

1. I cut out the alphabet pattern from K&C Company page design and highlight the letters and characters with glitter-inked pens.

2. Then, I used a corner cutter to soften the look for L and make an octagon shape for V

3. For the background, I stamped different patterns; tiny flowers and leaves for L and butterflies for V. If you look closely, you could see the big purple butterflies and the small, faded, light pink butterflies on the background for V.

4. That's it, paste it on and glamour it with some sparking white beads.

5. Inside are polka dots pink or green pattern to match with the outer layer.

Hope you enjoy it. I wonder what the next letters are gonna be. Let's wait for the right inspiration.

Alphabet Series: A and B

Dearest friends,

I decided to make some alphabet series. Here are A and B for Airplane and.... Bunny. For some reasons, my inspirations for this is the polkadots paper in the background. Plus I have some of Martha Stewart awesome birds, butterflies, leaves and flowers stamps.

These cards are so cute for kids, right? These are super fun and easy to make.

1. I cut out the alphabet pattern from K&C Company page design and highlight the letters and characters with glitter-inked pens.

2. Then, I used a corner cutter to soften for A but decided to keep it sharp for B.

3. For the background, I stamped different patterns; birds and leaves for A & purple flowers for B.

4. That's it, paste it on and glamour it with some sparking white beads.

5. Inside are polka dots pink or green pattern to match with the outer layer.

Stick around, more letters are coming up ^_^

Baby's First Christmas

Dear friends,

Today I went to a charity event held by international women association for unprivileged children. There were many kiosks from different countries selling art and crafts and traditional food *yum*. It was quite fun, but I was wearing high heels so @_@... my feet hurt now. As a result of one hour walking around, I got some Christmas craft and they are super cute, so I decided to make a Christmas card.

Aren't we all excited that the holiday is coming ^_^?

Hope you enjoyed the card!

My cute animal friend!

Hi there,

I haven't been using my stamps in a long time, so I decide to make a cute card today with stamps. I will add the materials and tools used to make this card soon. Enjoy everybody!

A cute card to give to kids or even mom-to-be. I used a darker shade of pink for the card and combine it with bright yellow. The pictures are a bit dark but I will try to take some pictures at the weekend to better show you the colors.

I stamped the animal figures onto the paper and then traced some lines with black watercolor brushes to bring out the design and the focus. In addition, I stamped some cute wishes and underline them with a brush. For the flowers, there are two designs (pictures coming soon). Two layers of the same size but different colors to be at the bottom. A smaller design of another to be on top and lastly a shiny bead.

Baby Birthday Card!

Hi there,

I made this card for my niece's birthday when she turned 1. I asked for it back today so I could take pictures and share it with you. Hopefully, she has not noticed that it's gone.
I chose a very color background paper with flowers and paste some more crafted flowers on top.
You can see the crafted flowers on the background flowers more clearly here.
I cut the word baby and put it above a baby figure I purchased at a craft store. Below is a Happy Birthday in red to match with the background color.

I think this card is super adorable. I hope you like it too. Now, I have to give the card back to my niece before I get into trouble ^_^
